Sclerotherapy for Hand Veins

Sclerotherapy (injection therapy) is very useful for those ugly veins we all have on the back of our hands.  Sometimes they can become very large and unsightly.  Now there is an excellent treatment for these veins that is very effective and simple to perform in the clinic setting.

 

We use a Sclerosant (medicine that closes veins), injected directly into the vein and then wrap the hand with some firm bandages and allow the vein to be absorbed by the body.  This whole process takes 3-6 months but you will no longer be subject to those embarassing large, ropey veins on the back of your hand.
